On Sep. 19^th, after more than 8 months casting, the Tang-style bell weighing to 108 tons cast by Wuhan Heavy Industry Casting and Forging Co., Ltd. was transported to Hanshan Temple by the associate transportation mode of land and river transportation. The goods is 8.5 m high, bottom dia. 5.188 m, weight 108 tons, inscription on the body is “Lotus Sutra” of 70024 wordings, on top suspension there is a divine beast, on the bottom there are nine Flying Angels Drawing and 6 milling skirt. Therefore, no damage to the surface should happen during the transportation time, this has proposed higher requirements to the design of the transportation plan, based on the suggestion of our technicians, the factory has fixed rubber pieces on the suspension hole, hoisting to the hydraulic axis car with 200 tonnage and transported to the dock, then hoisting to the ship and fixed it, delivered to Hanshan Temple via Changjiang River and Beijing to Hangzhou Canal.

On 19^th dawn, starting from the work shop of Wuhan Heavy Industry Casting and Forging Co., Ltd., the bell was supposed to be delivered to the heavy load dock in Qingshan First Smelting Factory. In order to ensure the safety of the goods transportation, our technician has implemented thorough checking and commissioning to the hydraulic system of the hydraulic axis car together with the technicians of the transportation company. It is guaranteed that there will be no mistake.

After being loaded with the proposed loading plan, the bell was packed and arrived in the dock smoothly and started hoisting and loading onto the ship. And this means the end of the delivery and receiving task of Hanshan Temple Big Bell in Wuhan section.
